"Bacchus" Decanter
Bacchus was the Roman god of wine and revelry. His face is sculpted on the funnel, crowned with clusters of grapes and his beard tapers down the tip. When wine is poured into the funnel, the wine appears to be blown ou by Bacchus to the wall of the decanter. In goes the ordinary wine and out comes nectar of the god's.
