Schott Zwiesel has eliminated lead content from their glass composition and has replaced it with Titanium and Zirconium, creating a new superior crystal – Tritan Crystal. This Tritan composition, combined with an exclusive manufacturing technology, imparts superior appearance and durability in each crystal glass. In addition, Schott Zwiesel individually tempers the three zones of each glass that are most prone to breakage (the rim, the junction of the bowl and stem, and the junction of the stem and foot) creating glassware that resists chipping and scratching.
